The "Village Trek" is an experience in living the locals life style: cooking, working, and learning their customs and religions.
Discover a very different Nepal with a trek in the shadow of the Himalayas, visiting authentic villages where you meet families and experience the challenges of everyday life; living without electricity and with food that depends on the whims of the weather (corn, rice, wheat, millet, potatoes, varied vegetables…)
Despite their poor and difficult life the Nepalese always are ready to welcome you and share; their heart is opened to all widely and friendly.

General Informations
Duration: 5 days Kathmandu return and days to Trek. 4 Days / walk: 3 hrs to 5 hrs.

Itinerary
- Day : 1
- Departure from Kathmandu to the town of Dhulikhel by local bus , change of scenery : you enter a totally different world from what we know in our developed countries ( 1h/1h30 bus ) departure for the trek to Namo Buddha Buddhist temple where we will have a complete panorama of the Himalayas ( 3/4hrs to walk.
- Day: 2
- Namo duddha to Kottemal. Route through several different ethnic villages across different crops (maize, wheat, rice depending on the season). We have a lot of contact with people; we sleep in the village of Kanpur/Kot Temal (5 hrs to walk)
- Day: 3
- Kot temal mountains to Narayanthan , with beautiful views of the popular small village with a famous Hindu temple for its pilgrimages ask what is missing - the rain , good harvests with beautiful landscapes village views.
- Day: 4
- Rest day in Thulo parsel and hiking through neighbor villages. We descend to Thulo parsel , the "common" organizers . All the man from the village goes to do the tourist season away from home, linking contacts that allow them to create collaborations with French, Dutch and Italian. Thus were created primary and secondary schools, a university, a home health camp. . You will be living with the locals. Through the villages of the ‘common’, climb up the ridge in the middle of beautiful and unforgettable scenery.
- Day: 5
- Thuloparsel to Mangaltar 4;30hrs of walking and then 2:30 hrs by bus to Kathmandu, meals, Mangaltaar down to where you take the bus to Kathmandu ( 4:30 and 3:00 walking bus )
