Nepal Azimuth is a Kathmandu based organization that offers custom guided treks for groups. We will work with you to design a custom trek that perfectly meets your needs. You specify where you want to trek, for how long and how strenuous. We will develop a trip itinerary, provide the guides and porter(s), all trek accommodation, meals, permits and location transportation. We will also suggest Kathmandu accommodation, pick you up and drop you off at the airport, and help you arrange local tours.
We are strongly involved on promoting our culture and protecting our natural environment. Our clients discover the wide variety and traditions of ethnic groups living in Nepal. We visit small Nepali villages, exploring daily living in a rural, agrarian society. We will guide you the many temples and religious sites that you will pass on your trek. Most importantly we will give you an intimate insight in Nepali life that most tour companies with large groups and set itineraries can not.
Nepal Azimuth is operated by Kalu Bahadur Tamang and Dorje Tamang. We, like our fathers began our careers as porters, then as guides. We have many years experience arranging and guiding trekking tours in all the popular Nepal mountain regions. As a Nepal based organization we do not have the North American or European overheads and profit margins to support so you get much more for you Dollar,Pound, Euro. We have hosted clients from North America, Europe, Asia and South America, often becoming close friends and maintaining contact. We will help you experience a one in a lifetime adventure without taxing your budget.
