Trek to Annapurna Base Camp

First, This trek offers beautiful views of the Himalayas. In addition the route crosses a fascinating traditional villages remained, with their  terraces rice fields and enables you to meet the ethnic Gurung, Magar and Thakali who will greet you as friends. Ascents and descents alternate along the river Modi Khola. There are several routes to the base camp which all converge on Chhomrung. In this village, tourists are greeted by the "mothers group" who offer evening traditional songs and dance. With your donations, they operate an association that aims to promote the changing status of women in their communities. 

On your way, you’ll walk through a dense forest with rhododendrons and then facing you, the Annapurna ranges which floor to the peaks arising in the distance...

This trek and its possible variants will be more interesting that you will get the
maximum experience by guide and porters.

Generals Information

Duration: 10 days Ktm to Ktm and 8 days to Trek. Day / walk: 4 hrs  to 6 hrs. Elevation: Steps ranging from 1130m to 4130m. Accomodation: In lodges.Favourable periods: from late February to early May and late September to early December.Climax: cultures, customs, and shared major peaks.

Itinerary

  2. Airport reception and transfer to hotel.
  1. Day 2:
  2. VisitKathmandu(temples, monasteries, medieval city museum, shopping ...) and presentation of the trek with the guide.
  1. Day 3:
  2. Kathmandu/ Pokhara. (Departure by tourist bus  (around 7hours) for Pokhara city tpuristique-which is the starting point forAnnapurnatreks.
  1. Day 4:
  2. Pokhara / Phedi (1340m) 1hour by bus and trek to Tolka(1635m) 5h30min to walk
  1. Day 5:
  2. Tolka / Chhomrong (1947m) 5h30min to walk
  1. Day 6:
  2. Chhomrong / Himalayan Hotel (2685m)5:30min to walk
  1. Days 7:
  2. Himalayan Hotel / base camp ofAnnapurna. (3900m) 5h to walk
  1. Day 8:
  2. the base camp ofAnnapurna/ Doban (2380m) 6h to walk
  1. Day 9:
  2.  Doban / Sinuwa (2150m) 5h30min to walk
  1. Day 10:
  2. Sinuwwa to Ghandruk. (2000m) 5h30 min to walk
  1. Day 11:
  2. Ghandruk / Biréthati / Pokara. (910m) 4 hours of walking 2 hours buy local bus to Pokhara.
  1. Day 12:
  2.  Pokhara /Kathmandu 6 hour bus tour, accommodation at hotel.
  1. Note: The trek can be extended by three days to get to Poon Hill, from where one has a full view of the Himalayas by changing valleys. We will arrive also to Pokara.
